Scott is a visual artist and musician, and he practiced both art forms during our tour. He played his guitar and enlisted all our band members in sing-alongs, and he carried a sketchbook throughout the trip and interpreted our adventures visually. Band members Joanie and Sophie definitely got caught up in the creative spirit, and they spent time drawing with Scott as well. On the last day of the trip, Scott created his ode – a song entitled “I’m With the Band.” The song is available for purchase on The Wayfaring Band’s Bandcamp page. All proceeds from sales of the song are donated to the band, so be sure to download your own copy!
